Well I am running the game on a laptop ATI X1400 most setting on medium but with high textures and 1040x1680 resolution (nice for a 15 inch laptop)
I average around 30-35 fps, though some of the NF areas with tuns of water falls do bring that down a lot. |

I haven't paid much attention to it, but while looking at my ping yesterday I saw 91 FPS.

Laptop - 10-20 in PvP/EotN/NF, 25 Factions, 30 Proph on Minimum/Almost minimum. Intel Core Duo T2250, integrated graphics 128RAM, 512RAM DDR. Craptastic.
Normal PC - everywhere 60-70 (vertical sync), except for large AB/HA where it sometimes hits 50. Max details and 4x AA, 1240x1024. Intel Dual Core E2160, GeForce 8500 512RAM, 2GB RAM DDR2. Not that bad. |

I have hit 400+ in certain areas. I am running 2 8800gt's in sli. 1400x900. aa x4. maxed graphics on everything. With vsync a solid 60 all the time.
Some food for thought: Your Fps seldom needs to be over the monitors refresh rate. lcd=60/ crt=75. That is how fast the screen re-images itself. The human eye can not normally see the "flicker" at above 32 fps, as that is the speed of a hollywood movie. There is a debate that when "near death" the human eye can see upwards of 700fps but that is hard to prove/disprove. If you average over 60/75 fps, you are money ahead to use vsync. If not vsync should not do much of anything. |

75 with Vsync, ~350 without.
Oh and there is no reason to turn vsync off other than benchmarking. Or destroying your monitor. |

I am always curious about the importance of very high frame rates, once it reaches a point where movement appears smooth whats the point.
If 2 people are running across the map one at 200 fps and one at 50 I doubt the 200 will run any faster in game and lose the other one. If it where so then we would all want our fps to be as high as possible to get an edge in the game. But if graphics are smooth and the controls don't lag when you perform actions why worry. Max graphics 45-130 FPS. I don't know why but my computer certainly doesn't like stability. 45 FPS could be in an empty district and 100+ FPS could be in Kamadan ad1. My PC is.. weird.

I have about 75 FPS with all max graphics with highest resolution. But that's with a pretty good machine.
Without sync I have about 200. |
